Work in CMYK in all applications.

Provide a complete set of laser proofs.

Create individual pages to print as Reader's Spreads, AdColor will imposition.

To achieve a richer fuller black, make up a 4/C black to the following percentages:30C, 20M, 10Y, 100K.

Best size for rules is .5 point. Do not make smaller than .25 point.

Delete any style sheets not being used in document.

Delete any colors that you defined, but did not use in the document.

Include all fonts (printer and screen) and graphics files used in document.

Graphic files fonts should be converted to outlines to avoid the need for missing fonts.

Do not create type in Photoshop. Photoshop rasterizes type. Import images into your layout program, then add text there.

Avoid using custom typeface effects (i.e. bold, italic, shadow, etc.)

Rather than using solid coverage of color, we recommend using textures to help disguise some of the inconsistencies.

Delete unwanted elements. Do not cover up unwanted elements with a white box. The RIP will still process that image.

Do not create blends in layout programs, it will result in banding. Create blends in Photoshop.

Do not save images with JPEG or LZW compression.
Remove any alpha channels used in Photoshop before saving.
